في أول ظهور رسمي لها، بعد أداء زوجها المشير عبدالفتاح السيسي، اليمين الدستورية رئيساً لمصر، قامت "السيدة الأولى" بزيارة ضحية واقعة التحرش الجنسي الجماعي بميدان التحرير، والتي حدثت أثناء الاحتفال بـ"تنصيب" الرئيس الجديد لمصر.
